User unable to access the ABB control system after user id changed in Corporate Domain.
User recently got married and their user is was changed. The users access needed to be updated in the ABB control system. We synchronize the groups to pull in the users for each role. After we-synching all the roles, the old user name was removed, and the new one was added. The user (operator) is also added in the local Administrators group on the client. Right-clicking on My ePlant shows "Create Shortcut" as well as the system name with an asterisk (Decomp1*). I also tried using the Config Wizard but had no luck.

It appears the userid was indeed changed. When a previous user had this similar problem many months ago, they had a new userid created for them. This was not easy to convince corporate IT to do. Hopefully we can come up with a better way to clean up the ABB aspect system without having to do this. In the future, many others will most likely have this same issue.
