PI reads incorrect values from wall mounted ACS800's with older software versions
We use PI to read the electrical data from Modbus RTU devices, ACS800 drives particularly.
The pace of reading is once at 150sec, and we read DO status, speed, power, current... basic things.
The ACS800 drives that we have came with different software versions, probably because of different purchase dates. However, it might sound idiotic, but we experienced some issues with all but the latest version of wall mounted drives (ASX 7320/7350) - time to time (once in several hours, quite randomly) they return incorrect value of DO (1 instead of 0 or 0 instead of 1), or their internal temp. drops to zero. We did not experience any of these with the latest (ASX 7360) version of the drives.
Has anyone faced issues like this? Is there a way to upgrade the drive's software? Is there any recommendation on delays to apply in the Modbus Master service to avoid the misreadings?
Thanks in advance for your time
