Answer question
Sudden changes in speed reference using EFB - ACS580
So I am able to communicate to the drive though embedded fieldbus. So what my device does, is it simply sends a speed reference to the drive and then the drive should follow this speed reference received. At the moment the drive does receive the speed reference and follows it, but for some reason the speed reference randomly changes from say 2020rpm to 50rpm(it's always 50rpm) and then back to 2020rpm. This happens very fast, but it causes the motor to speed up and down suddenly.
What also funny is my device is setup in such a way that the speed reference it writes to the drive may not be smaller than minimum speed, so there is absolutely no reason to write 50rpm EFB reference when the minimum speed is set to 500rpm.
Does anyone know what influence the speed reference and why I would experience such behaviour? I have attached a video, the sudden change happens at 30sec.
