Question with handling object types and graphics
Hi, I am currently creating an object type for an REF615 relay, and I am having problems with the aspect which links to the object's faceplate.
The current setup I have now is: the user works on a screen which has the electric diagram of the plant. In this diagram there are several REF615 graphic elements distributed, which when clicked would pop-up the element's faceplate.
These graphic elements have indicators on them, namely the voltage, current and power going through the line. The problem I have is that when the user tries to click the element by clicking on the indicator on the element, the faceplate doesnt pop-up. The system focuses on the indicator instead of on the element. The indicators have their enable input field set as false, but they still take focus when clicked. This problem doesn't happen when the users clicks on the edge of the graphic element, avoiding the indicator.
I illustrated this in the attached images.
Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.
