How to open and use DB and PC source codes and access to the graphical view of AMPL source codes
I typed the DUMP DataBase and PC Source Code commands (DUDBS & DUPCS) in our old MS-DOS based industrial computer called MasterAid 220 and gathered .AA files such as "PCSC0101.AA" from SRCE folder in the destination "C:\ROOT\*******\RMC_001" as you see in the picture " MS-DOS folders.jpg". I also copied files like "BSC01.BAX" and "BSC01.LS2" from DBDATA folder and files like "PCSC0101.AAX" from PCDATA folder in the same directory. Then I copied these source files on the floppy disk and transfered them to the new laptop with CBA software.
But for example when I open PCSC0101.AAX with Control Builder A 1.3 software I see a "text" file that is attached. So I have a few questions:
1-I am collecting true files or another directory and files should be copied?
2- I can't see a graphical view of these codes like "AMPL document printout examlpe.png" picture attached. Can I access to a graphical view of the process control program and graphicaly edit and change it?
3-Is there any need to convert or upgrade these PC and DB data to a newer version useble in the CBA software? If Yes, How?
4- How can we have an integrated project file that contains these sub-blocks (DB & PC) like Control Builder A project files?
