Answer question
Two different systems with similar "system name".
Planning for a upgrade from 800xA 5.0 to 800xA 5.1, because we are upgrading the hardware. We planned to upgrade the existing domain and join the new systems with new name and load the maintenance backup.
My question is Two different sytems (AS, CS names are unique) with the same "system name" will be a problem for the systems running on 800xa 5.0.
Our plan was to keep the plant live on 800xa 5.0 and add the new systems on different name and install 800xa 5.1 and load the back up, take a short down on the plant and swap the controllers from the old system to new system.
Any valuable answer would be appreciated.
