I have read in previous questions that the tag count is depending on the number of faceplates. Each object having one or more faceplates are considered as a tag ...
I want more details on that if possible.. by the faceplate you mean the window that comes when you click on the items in the SCADA graphics and how can i eliminate them to save more tags for licensing issue?
Also, is this also related to signals whether they are Analog or Digital???
Thanks in advance.

The numbe of tags for license is nothing but the number of objects with faceplate you have in ur PPA in control structure.
You can run this command to check the no. of tags. "afwsyinfo -tags"
You can call those objects many times in ur graphics and that is not counted for tag license.
