How to configure gateway for PM861A controller
Hi.
We have two sites approx 6 km away. Site-A is having non-redundant PM861A Controller and Local Panel800 and Site-B is having Server, EWS & one set of redundant controller. Site-A to Site-B communication is through redundant GPRS.
Site-A CN1 of Controller is connected to one GPRS Router(IP-172.18.4.20) and CN2 of Controller is connected to other GPRS(IP-172.19.4.20).
Site -A controller, default gateway is set as 172.18.4.20 and I am able to ping, download from site-B.
Problem is I am not able to provide other gateway IP 172.19.4.20 that means when first gateway is down, all the data are lost.
Please help how to configure other gateway in Controller PM861A.

You can only have one default gateway in the routing table (which is common for all Ethernet adapters in a computer).
I haven't tested, but at least in Microsoft Windows and NE870 RNRP settings you can specify "Router 1 to External Network" and "Router 2 to External Network". Maybe AC 800M have this setting in Base tab of controller?
RNRP will, with this setting made continuously ping router 1 and as long as it responds use it as default gateway. A second (router 2) permit redundancy, but router 2 will only go active if router 1 goes down (and router 2 respond to ping).
Another option would be to put controller and Control Builder M on the same subnetwork - in which no default gateway is needed.
