Connect two operator station between each other and two process station
I would like to connect two operator station between two PC. First PC1 have IP 192.168.1.1 and second PC2 have 192.168.1.2. I would like to see how looks like to sending packets between machines in Wireshark or another application. When I'm done I would like to see packets between process station.
How connect and set configuration in Freelance 800F because I see only "No connection" and "Load not possible at present. Reason: No TCP/IP connection."
I use emulator as hardware.
what are you actually trying to do? To what purpose do you want to analyze the communication within Freelance? You should know that reverse engineering the software as well as the communication protocoll is not allowed!
Maybe there is a better way to do what you want to do?
For example using the DMS-API if you want to write your own software connecting to a Freelance system or use an OPC server.
Btw. two operator stations don't talk to each other. They only talk to the Process Stations and to the Engineering Station.
You need to make sure that each station has a unique Ressource ID in addition to the IP address. Call up the Network configuration within the engineering tool to make sure the ressource IDs (Station IDs) are unique.
When starting an emulator you provide its Resource ID as Station ID in the mask. For the operation software you have to call up the Freelance Settings program (on each PC) and put in the Resource ID for the Operation on that PC in the Operations sector.
