800xa 6.0/5.1/5.0 Primary and Seconday Domain controller Failure
What will happen if both domain controller is failed i a 800xa system.
What we have observerd in 800xa 6.0 system , 800xa stops working ?
Because of the Service account is running with domain privileges the 800xA services will stop workning next time the service account needs to reautenticate to the domain controllers. This is made very offen in a domain environments and is not any special thing only for 800xA systems.
You can create up to 1200 domain controllers per domain in a Server 2012 R2 environment. Create some more domain controllers to increase availability, on separate hardware is of course the best solution.

Do not expose System 800xA to a domain controller outage!
Existing connections between servers and clients will stay open, but eventually System 800xA will run into trouble since network communication is subject to authentication via Microsoft Windows standard authentication protocols/mechanisms.
Without a domain controller, a System 800xA server node or service provider cannot identify who is on the other side, friend or foe => the connection attempt will be rejected.
It is not possible to predict when such authentication will be required; maybe next minute maybe next hour.
System 800xA in operation without a reachable domain controller is not tested and should thus be avoided.
