800c (pm210) bodbus query from Tristar 45 PWM Charge Controller problem
Hi!
I have tried to read some data from PWMCC with 800c (com1) with modbus. But it's failed. I don't know what I to spoil? (declare; comm. parameters, etc.). Could someone help with me?

So. It's finished and it working good.
The wire is:
RJ45pin1 - Dsub9pin4 (jumper with 6!!!)
RJ45pin2 - Dsub9pin7
RJ45pin3 - Dsub9pin3
RJ45pin4+5 - Dsub9pin5
RJ45pin6 - Dsub9pin2
Pooltime must: 0ms! (why??? I don't know.)
StartAdress format:%MW10#00008

Hi!
Always a little difficult to help you, when you don't show any of your configurations.
Just browsed the manual, but it seems possible.
First thing: Are you sure about your wiring? 90% of the times, the HW wiring or the modems are the problem. Please show detailed connections.
Second, if your absolutely sure about the wiring, move on to configure your COM port. Settings accoring to the manual you've attached. Baud rate, parity and stop bits, just the way they mentioned in the manual.
Third, if you've come this far, you should have no problems. Just read data. You should have a valid connection to the slave. Maybe the StartAddr is the problem.
Fourth, interpret data. You'll have to enter some code to interpret all data, depending on what you're trying to achieve.
Fifth, if you still can't get the connection working, move back to first step, or hook up a listener.
I'll try to help you, but I'll need a little more input...
Hi MyMe!
Sorry to I don't wrote a lot, but I just installed CB3.2 at two mounts ago. I am not a programmer and I don't understand a lot of things in it.
So I make a "cisco" cable (from COM1 to Tristar).
Com port config is this:
In this modbus adress is the PLC adress or the Slave device? Because the Tristar default modbus adress is1.
And this is "one" of things about I don't understand:
I'm just read 3 data: Battery voltage, Charging current and Ah total.
