Alarm List - Property View is not working!
In the customer I have about 20 substations, so we did an Alarm & Events Screen. There are buttons to open each substation alarm list.
What I need is very simple, when an event that needs to be acknowledged appears, the button will change the color.
First, I've tried to make a logical condition using relay_name:IsAlarmUnack Descendants, however there are about twenty relays and it is not working porperly.
Then I've tried to use Alarm Band, it works just fine but to put it in PG2 Screen I used "aspect view wrapper" and when I have about 20 alarm band aspects, the screen opens slowly, takes about 1 minute to show all objects.
So, I decided to make a logical using the aspect: "Alarm List:Property View: IsUnAck" but it is not changing its value (0 - 1) when there are alarms unacknowledge.
Is there another way to do it or how to make this property works?
Sounds like a syntax error, etc. somewhere in your expression syntax.
What is the full expression you can't get to work?
Name conflict (duplicates) forcing use of full path?
Wrappers steal A LOT of performance. There is also a limitation on how many different alarm list filters to be in paralell use in one system, for 5.1 I believe its 25.
Hence "Alarm List:someproperty" should be avoided in favor of the much resource leaner "Alarm Global Properties:someproperty".
In 5.0 and older versions the maximum number of descendants when using Alarm Global Properties:someproperty_Descendants is limited.
Have your regional ABB support center to submit a case if you can't get this to work out by yourself.
