I have a question about 800xAService account in domain. I have 2 platforms and in one platform I have configured 2 domain controllers. Other platform doesn't have any domain controller(unmanned).
I configured single domain. Remote platform computer also joined to domain.
While loging to 800xAService account in remote platform getting access denied message. But I can login to 800xASupervisor account.
Note that 800xASupervisor is a domain admin.
Then I tried to configure 800xAService also as a domain admin.then noticed that I can login to 800xAService account.Same is happening with all other users planned for remote platform.
Any idea where I am doing wrong? I hope normally domain admin right is not needed to access a user from remote platform ?
Normally 800xAService/Operator Users should be a member of ?????
Access denied in 800xA or Microsoft?
How is the network(s) configured?
System 800xA slave to Microsoft authentication.
Access denied in 800xA occur when connecting user is absent from either Node Admin or User Structure. Details in System Event List.
Please inject more information.
So you're using Remote Desktop ?
Domain admins are automatically added to the remote desktop users group. 800xA service account is not. You have to add it manually. You can either add the service account to the RDP users group or add it individually to each computer.
Since you really should not be logging in with the Service account in future, now may be the time to lock down the service account and use a system admin acount instead.
