There are some initial requirements. The Smart Client gets the A/E messages from the IM Message Log, (IMMSGLOG). For systems without an IM, it will NOT be possible to view the A/E messages.
I have included two attachments. The first, 'Configuring AE Retrieval in SC', explains the configuration of the feature in Smart Client. The second, 'Checking ABBSG tables in Oracle', provides a procedure to ensure that the Tables were created in the Oracle data base in the IM.
