Access CP600 from web browser
Hello everyone,
¿Is it possible to acces a CP620 screen from a web browser in a local network PC?
The plant operator wants to be able to view the process status remotely, to give orders to the people on site.
The current setup is as follows:
AC500-eco CPU
- without Ethernet, only RS-485
CP620 screen
- Ethernet port currently used for programming
The PanelBuilder software has a Windows Client app, but i have only used it as a simulation client, ¿can it be used as a live browser?
Alternatively, if the CP620 has built-in web server, ¿does a normal browser work?
Thank you all for your time, cheers!

Hi,
The Panel Builder 600 software has a web page browser tool included called HMI client. The tool can be installed on need basis, during the installation of Panel builder 600.The HMI client allows real time monitoring of the HMI,by accessing the HMI as a webclient.Simply enter the IP address of the HMI in the browser window and click on refresh. The HMI screens will then be available as web pages. The HMI can be monitored and controlled from here as well.
Note:We use a licensed version of AB 1.2.4 and PB600.There may be limitation in the no of hours the HMI client can be connected to the HMI.Try to find more info on this.

Rahil
