800xa Visual Basic: Error Calling ut the graphic aspect
We've cloned an operator station with 800xa 5.0 sp2 rev E. It is connected to our testsystem
When trying to view any graphic display i get the error message displayed in the attachment
"Error calling up the graphic element" etc. Usually this comes if the aspect is not deployed. But clicking "edit" does not open up VB. Right clicking and "deploy" does nothing either.
I have checked the same displayes from a different machine on the same test system and they render fine.
"file set distribution" service is fine
Visual Basic 6.0 starts fine when launching from start menu
Where should i start to look?

I'm leaning toward Ronny's suggestion; but widen it a bit:
- Check that service account *OWNS* all files in OperateITData and OperateITTemp.
Cloning a different system's client can cause files therein to be inaccessible to the service account. Use "Take ownership" on these folders and *ALL* files below them.
Then erase FsdCache folder
Then rerun Software User Settings from the Config Wizard
Then start workplace and test again.
verify that your 800xA user is a Local administrator on your computer, and also the 800xA Service account. (If not configure and restart)
Remove all folders under OperateITTemp/ActiveGraphics on the computer and then try to Edit.
Can you see a new folder under ActiveGraphics after Edit, and does it contains any archives with content ?
