What does warning: Watchdog reset, Code 10, in event list of REF615, mean?
Protective-control devices ABB REF615 version XC (OrderCode: HBFBAAACNAA1AAN1XC) and XD (OrderCode: HBFFAFAGNBA3BAA1XD) are installed in substation that I'm currently working on. These devices are linked to switch RSG2100 RuggedCom, which again is connected to a RTU SIEMENS TM 1703 ACP. RTU supports two communication protocols, one for the IEC 61850 protocol with which it receives data from the devices, and another for the IEC 104 protocol with which it exchanges data with SCADA center (ABB MicroSCADA Pro ver. 9.2). When I try to send command from SCADA, and also from the RTU, a device (version XC) goes to reset. In the event list of device following message appears:
Warning:
Watchdog reset,
Code 10.
While in devices with version XD command runs normally. For solving this problem manuals for REF615 offer a solution to restore configuration to factory settings, but it doesn't help. What is meaning of this warning, and how can I fixed it?

Hi,
AKS is mainly focusing on Control System for industrial production and the REFs belong to the substation automation products. Anyway, if you tell me in which country or region that you are located, I could look for contact details for technical support.
