There are 2 ways to do what you want. The Control Builder F (CBF) by default runs in the mode: AUTOACCEPT ON. The current mode can be seen in the lower right corner of the status line.
Before starting changes that you don't want to save, double click on that field. It will switch to AUTOACCEPT OFF. Then do your trial editing. When you leave the graphic editor window and double-click on another node in the P-tree or click on another tab like the "Variables" tab, you will be asked if you want to save the changes. Select "No" and all your changes will disappear.
Don't forget to switch Autoaccept to ON again.
In case you forgot to switch Autoaccept to OFF before you started changes you don't want to keep, there is still a possibility to get rid of all your changes.
When CBF opens a project file, it actually copies the content to a working file and all editing happens in the working file. Then, when you close the project file (or the CBF) it asks you if you want to keep the changes made. If you select "Yes", then CBF replaces the project file with the working file. If you select "No", then CBF simply deletes the working file and your old project file keeps unchanged. But be aware that also all the changes you might want to keep are gone. If you find yourself in that situation, press the "CANCEL" button in the save dialog and select "Project Manager" from the Project Menu. In the project manager select "Save as ..." and save your changes to a different project file. Then you can merge the wanted changes back into your old project using the "Edit/Export Block.." and "Edit Import Block..." menu for complete notes or the "Editor/Export/To file..." and "Editor/Import" menu for parts of a program or graphic.
