Network online, agent connected, workplace environment not showing up on the start menu
Hi!
We have a problem with reaching the Workplace (version 6.03). We have two separate system up and running with little to no differences, the first one is working properly but on the other one we cannot reach the Workplace from the ABB start menu. Everything seems to be in order (same in both systems), RNRP ok, agent conneted etc.
On the system that is working, things are running smoth and as expected. On the system that is not working properly things are running fine, but it the system "thinks" a second longer or so before not showing anything at the environment field when opening the Workplace from the ABB start menu. All in all, it feels like the system is "looking" for something a short period of time but can´t find it.
Hardware is the same on both systems, right now we are trying to reach the Workplace from one of the aspect servers in the malufunctioning system without success.
Any clues?

So client sees server and vice versa in RNRP monitor (which is a strict requirement for any 800xA feature to work)?.
Are all clients like this, or only one particular of this troublesome system?
Is the \windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file in order in the servers AND this troublesome client? All should contain a complete list of nodes, as reported in the RNRP Monitor.
Does the \OperateITTemp folder become populated in the client? E.g. is \OperateITTemp\AspectDirectory\ObjMgr1.dat created?
You can try to refresh the client's connection to the system by clicking the "Connect remote node" button in the Node Definition aspect of the affected client (do this from any operational workplace, e.g. the aspect server).
The [Workplace Structure]Web System Workplace:System Event List may list connection problems (wrong service or user account causing access denied)
