I guess you mean write the AC410 or AC450 controller firmware to a PCMCIA ?
- No. There is no support for this. Firmware cards can only be created by ABB manufacturing.
If you mean back up your AC410/AC450 Application software into PCMCIA Card ?
- There are details on how to do this in the COntrol Builder manuals. The PCMCIA cards use a file system called FFS-2. I've only ever done this once about 12 years ago and even then finding an FFS-2 PCMCIA card writer was very difficult as the technology is quite old. Note, you cant write the controller firmware to the card this way.
I dont see how writing 2 versions of the same firmware to a card will work. How would the controller know which one to use ?
