compact hmi alarms error
Hello,
we have one compact hmi system, we have one strange problem with alarms,
the alarms was working fine, but when we restart computer appears one X in alarm indicator. (alarms are working ) all services are ok.
what This X means?.
Is there any way to have this system in a normal condition?

I would like to refine previous answer given by other.
The alarm list, alarm band and alarm sequence bar will all show:
- Orange border/cross if one or more Event Collector groups have fallen offline
- Red border/cross if no connection to any Alarm Manager can be established.
In this case it seems you have an Event Collector group offline or in bad state.
The Event Collector service require the OPC AE server in regard to expose OPC_STATUS_RUNNING which most OPC servers only expose if all is OK.
-> Check Event Collector service using System Status Viewer (not Service Connection viewer)
-> I believe System Status viewer will tell if non-normal state is returned by OPC server
-> Check OPC AE server
If the OPC AE server is PLC Connect's; check that PLC Service is running OK and that Control Network is properly deployed, etc.
Consider restarting Event Collector services one by one before restarting Alarm Manager or whole PC.
Don't hesitate to contact your regional ABB support center for assistance with resolving this.

Hi,
If any one of the services in the system are not in service state, then you may get the cross mark (X) in the alarm band.
Please check in the service status viewer and make sure that all services are running.
