Alram apppeared in IM servers
IM_Inform IT History Collection recieved 1 Read Raw Values in Last 5 minutes.
Kindly explain this message ,
The IM collection engine was unable to read from an 800xA Basic History log.
1. Verify that IM Log Configuration is synchronized with 800xA (use the Check Sync feature of the IM History Manager tool in the System Tray).
2. Synchronization may cease to work if Log Configuration or Log Templates are inconsistent. Consider checking them (the Find tool can be used in conjunction with the Consistency Checker to have only a subset of aspects checked rather than the whole system; locate LCs and LTs and drag them over to the checker tool).
3. Perform an integrity check of the IM database:
C:\> hsdbmaint -checkDB
If >0 values are returned, consider cleaning the database
a. Stop IM History services from PASGUI.exe
b. C:\> hsdbmaint -clean
c. Restart IM History services from PASGUI.exe
4. Verify that Basic History logs are active and contains current data.
There are methods to find out exactly the log to check, but I'm afraid its a bit too complex to explain in a forum thread. I don't know how much shortcuts I can take when it comes to describe how to read the required information out of the IM and its Oracle instance.
