I/O status retrieved from advant OS: unknown red crosses appear.
Hi all!
When navigating to system status for a I/O station from an advant OS I observe red crosses beneath the power supply status indications. On other I/O stations, these boxes are not visible at all.
From my node (AC450), the I/O station 22 on the AF100 bus 1 indicate said problem.
The I/O station has 12 slots in use. However, slot 11 (DI800_17) is not being used. All other stations 1-10 and 12 are being used. The picture attached says it all. Anyone who knows what these two red crosses indicate?
When looking at the I/O station everything seems fine, i.e., no warning or failure LEDs are lit. It is worth mentioning that the station 22 is at the end of AF100 bus 1.
Cheers!
Andy

Hi,
The Status boxes beneath the power supply status are user configurable. Its intended for showing the status of external power supply unit, if used. Please check in the DB of AF100IOS if the extended supervision is enabled. If not used, you may disable it and the red cross should disappear.
Good Luck.

Intelbalti,
thanks for your reply.
Yor solution worked, and the red crosses are now gone.
One note though, disabling supervision of redundant power supplies on opto-fibre in the data base did not entirely fix the problem (figure af100_io_stasjon_fei). After doing so the crosses were still visible. After disabling the text for extended status(EN_TEXT1 & 2) the problem was fixed (af100_io_stasjon_rik).
Thank you!
Cheers,
Andy
