Freelance UFB faceplates: default symbols/template
to all colleagues that made their own UFBs with faceplates:
How can I access the default stock symbols, e.g. man/auto, on/off, local, ... (see image)? Unfortunately, I couldn't find much in the documentation. There is a macro library for custom ufb faceplates, but it doesn't seem to contain any symbols.
It seems, with UFB faceplates, you have to start from an empty sheet. Is there any good template, i.e. a default faceplate that I could start from?
Thanks & best regards

In the Export directory of the Freeelance installation you should find a file called "FreelanceSampleTagTypeLib_V1.1.prt". Use Edit/Import Block to import it to the Pool node. It contains faceplates for selected Freelance function blocks that you can copy and use for your own purpose.
The library was actually created to be used for OPC Tags when connecting several Freelance Projects under one DigiVis via OPC Servers.
For your convenience and in case you don't find it I have attached a copy.
Hope that helps
Go to any graphics page FGR or user define faceplate (FB-FPL),
Goto Menu Item Macro > Library Function > windows will pop-up click on Load
And nevigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ABB\Freelance\macros folder.
There select symbol library( I don't remember the name) but try selecting all files( .bol files), not sure if it's available with your installed version by default.
Incase by default if these symbols are not available.
Then easy step is to download any UFB related to PID or drive function block from AKS APP section
Import it in to your project, then open it's faceplate, Select particular symbol, put it into graphic pool area by selecting 'switch to pool' button in graphic editor menu options.
And use it/call up again in your new user define faceplate you want to use, assigne required variables...
Hope that helps...
