VECTOR SPEED AND VECTOR TORQUE
1. In VFD, there has lot more options of motor control mode like VECTOR SPEED, VECTOR TORQUE, SCALAR FREQUENCY. Application wise we use the specific option.
My first question is, in which application which motor control mode are applicable? i know that this is very basic question that i should know the answer and in manual it is given. But now a days i am little bit confused about that portion. if you clarify it with details then it will help me.
also, i want to know that in a particular application if i will not use T-CONTROL macro and at the same time if i apply VECTOR TORQUE control mode, then will it contradict for a drive? like in hoist application, if i apply VECTOR TORQUE control mode then is it applicable for that application? or i should go for VECTOR SPEED control mode?
2. In start function there has an option DC MAGNETIZATION. which will gaurantees the highest possible brake away torque.
My second question is, like in hoist application if i will not use brake motor, then will it work for that selection? or also in mechanical brake arrangement it is possible with the mechanical brake control parameter setting? Because in DC MAGN there is noted that the drive pre-magnetizes the motor with DC current before the start. So, from where it will generate the DC current (if i use AC motor)?
