User Defined Block step by step design
I need a step by step process of making a user defined block(Like IDF_2), so that it looks likes orginal block. Also I need to make the faceplate also with similar functionality as of IDF_2.
I am able to make a normal UFB and face plate, but I need to introduce auto/manual function, also need some alarm/message settings to be configured in UFB. Need to define run time elpase time .
I need to create this for Auma make DBBV operation.
Requirement is that whenever input IN0(IDF_2) is high I need to make a o/p bit high for enabling one text visible. and operator has to then open the faceplate after that for making OU0 High(IDF_2 in Manual). Means when IN0 is high block should move to Manual mode with a message or bit. But at some alarming condition IN0 high should directly farwarded to OU0.
But when input IN1 is High it should directly be forwarded to OU1.
It is similar to IDF-2 Function block, but some extra features are required.
I need step by step example of how to make auto/manual button similar to IDF_2 and other function.
Why won't You simply use the IDF_2 block?
The functions You are describing can be added with some signal passing and one or two additional blocks. Simply put: connect the signla from IN0 to both IN0 and MM inputs of IDF_2 and either use it in Operations to show text or monitoring block. Put the "alarming condition" to OR with IN1 and connect the output to MA of IDF_2 so that IN0 can be forwarded on this condition and IN1 to be forwarded always.
Will this be enough?
