800xA RAM of the Client increases
Hi All,
I have a 800xA system version 5.1 Rev.D. We use two clients. One of the clients is verry slow. The callup of displays or faceplates on this client takes a long time. The used memory increases permanently. If we reboot the client it works for some hours.
It seams that the memory is not released again. How can I find out the programm who use the memory.
Is there anybody with the same problem and may be a solution?

Hi...
Same problem i am facing.
Please Stop Firewall and then check.
A lot of efforts have been invested R&D in identifying and correcting memory leakages.
Be sure to load as recent version as possible, eg do you have the latest rollup? 5.1 RevD Rollup 5?
A large workplace with complex graphics and many monitors might not run well on 32-bit operating system where memory limitation of 2GB is too low. Be sure to use 64-bit OS and at least 8GB RAM. It is OK to have a mixture when on or above 5.1 RevB.
Ultimately, have a support case submitted. R&D can examine memory dumps to see if there is something wrong with your configuration.
