Time difference allowed in AC800M, AC415 and AC460 controllers ?
We have GPS master clock then connectivity and further controllers.
In case of GPS malfunction, suppose it takes time of 4-5 years back or may be date of its manufacuring.
a)What be the effects on our controllers
3.AC800M(MMS communication may not work as said in one of AKS thread)
b)In Yokogawa systems if the frequency (Time drift from normal) of GPS or ay time master is 3-4/sec. Primary controller will switch to redundant controller.
Do we (ABB controllers) have any such issues/feature when there is time drift between Time master and controllers.
c)For Kerberos authentication, default time is five minutes.
If We want to define a policy for maximum time between domian and client in xA.
what is maximum time difference between domain and xA client allowed without affecting functionality of xA system?

Avoid "star coupling" to a single GPS. Let one system slave to a single GPS and then transfer time to the other systems from there. If possible connect more than one GPS.
800xA has no time sync requirement besides Kerberos in Windows. Keep Kerberos running and the 800xA HMI will be happy.
AC400 and AC 800M PA controllers will not failover if time drift is too large. Safe MMS in AC 800M HI has requirement on time quality. See online help in CBM.
