Is the Bailey Symphony control system available, does it have to be upgraded or changed?
The question aims to know if in a few years it will reach an obsolescence or bailey system can still operate without problems for example for hardware change or firmware updates.

ABB Control systems like the older Bailey/Infi90/Harmony/SymphonyPlus system do not have any obscelence planned in them. The names and modules will change over time. Consider this: Bailey Controls (Bailey Automation, Elsag Bailey) was the name of the company that created the original DCS called Network90, this then evolved to Infi90 and then Infi90 Open, then Symphony Harmony (or just Harmony) and now SymphonyPlus. The newer Symphony Plus cards can be used to evolve the 'older' systems, and still retain code and other features as the system is modernised or added to.

Bailey Symphony system can be updated and upgraded, Symphony Plus (S+) is the new class technology, perhaps you want to share module information in your actual system to help you decide what to do there.
