Disabling a forced AI in 800xA
First of all, I'm a rookie so bear with me.
I discovered that an AI which was connected to a transmitter recently does not display the true value. It turns out the channel is forced. The faceplate of the tag in question is attached.
My task is simply to un-force the channel and bring it live. I read that I/Os can be forced using the the checkbox in the I/O hardware of the controller. My problem is that i don't know where to find this checkbox.
Can anyone guide me through this?

First you have to locate your IO address of that particular tag. This can be found out in Control Builder in Online mode.
Once you are online in Controller, right click on faceplate and click on Project Explorer or Control Module Connections. That would take you to the object in the Control Builder.
Open the connections of the Analog Block by double clicking on it in online mode. Find the HW connection in Parameter or Variables of Analog block.
After locating the Hardware Location of that tag. Browse to that location in the Hardware tree.
Double click on that IO Module and in the status Tab you will be able to uncheck the force of that particular IO.
