ABB OPC Tunnel
Can anybody explain in very simple terms how to setup the ABB OPC tunneling software between two networks over TCP/IP?
As an overview of what I am trying to do, we have a clients system on another site which we require to view certain variables and controller states on our main control system in our offices. Both are AC700F controllers. Basically we want to pull information from the OPC server on the clients site and display them through our AC700F on Digivis.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Please refer manual - 2PAA106899R0101_-_en_OPC_Tunnel_-_Technical_Description.pdf for OPC Tunnel Configuration - Freelance.
I hope this manual help you to do the OPC Tunnel configuration for Freelance system.
Hi,
If i understood it correct, you have 2 different network with different AC700F controllers say network 1 and network 2.
AC7000F in Network 1 data need to be displayed in Digivis of Network 2.
If this is your requirement then follow the below mentioned steps:
1.From network one, ping Eng machine of network 2.
2.If successful,Configure OPC gwy and OPC server node in P-tree of CBF machine in network 2.(In ip config tool give opc gwy any resource id and IP of CBF machine of network 1)
3)In CBF machine of network 1, in configute tool, enter the Resouce ID of OPC mentioned in OPC gwy in Machine in Network 2.and run the opc server.
4.In CBF machine in network 1, sync with opc and get the variables from network2 through OPC.
5.Configure those varibale in Digivis on machine in network 1.
