Trends display inactive when adding a win 2000 operator station
The trends display went inactive when I added one win2000 digivis 6.2 operator station and Controlbuilder 6.2.
From that moment every other (Win NT4) operator stations lost their trend monitoring/display as well.
The network is tcp-ip
I Reloaded the whole stuff with the win2000 Controlbuilder.
I added a win 2000 station for the usb capability.
I suspect a credentials or permissions error.
first of all, the freelance version 6.2 is obsolete sinc 7 years !!
Windows NT or Windows2000 are no more supported from Micrrosoft.
Freelance uses now only USB hardkey and USB is not supported in Windows NT
Therefore an authorized question is : what is the concept for support for this customer system ?
In a second step, I didn´t find any hint in release notes 6.2 if you can use stations with windosNT and stations with Windows2000. Therefore, if you still have problem, try to get all stations with one OS -> e.g. Windows2000 , as you have USB support.
and at least, check the function _ Time Synchronisation with e.g : correct IP-addresses / same Subnetmask for all stations .
Good Luck !
what exactly do you mean by "..trends display went inactive..."?
If you mean you do no longer see a trend curve, then go and check the controllers time versus your PC times. If your PC time runs ahaed of the controller time, then you would not see trend curves without going back on the time line in the trend.
Describe a little more what you added. You added one PC with Win200 on which you installed CBF and DigiVis in 6.2? Was this a replacement for an older PC or did you want to extend the number of HMI's and decided to move Control Builder there too?
