Hi,
I haven't seen this message before. But I would have a look into the DCOM Settings, because the OPC Server is running on a different PC than the Matrikon OPC Explorer!
Just for test an locating the problem: Have you tried to install and use the Matrikon Explorer on the same machine as the AC800M OPC Server.
If it is a not resolveable DCOM Settings Problem (e.g. when the 2 PCs are running in different Domains) the Matrikon Tuneller could help as a workarround.

Hi Rodrigro,
have you "connected" the AC800M to the OPC Server. Check the OPC Server Panel for AC800M. In the Data Acess Tab you should see or enter the IP Address of the AC800M controller. The state should be a yellow smiley
In case you want to receive Alarm Messages (with Time stamp) from the AC800M, you should do the same setting in the Alarm and Event tab.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Reinhart & Sumit for your answers!
My problem was due that I needed to have the same user in both computers. Now I can connect but I still have a problem.
When I want to add tags I get this error
In details it says:
ABB.AC800MC_OpcDaServer.3 caused COM/OPC error 0x80040202 on IConnectionPoint.Advise()
GetErrorString() on IOPCServer not implemented or could not resolve error string!
Error string: Could not resolve OPC error code
Additional: Could not establish data callback connection on group ''
Interface address is 0x002DB42C
Vendor detail: ABB Automation Technology Products AB. OPC DA Server for AC 800M.
Why do I still have this error message?
Thanks again
Rodri
