Trigger to detect logoff or to detect Revert to Inactivity User in 800xA
In our system we want to prevent that multiple users can operate a machine at the same time. We made this work with a general property which is written with the name of the user who is operating the machine. When there is a name in this general property, it is not possible for other operators to click on buttons of that machine, fill in input fields etc.
But now we are looking for a way to release the machine if the user who is operating the machine has been inactive for 10 minutes. I know there is standard functionality in 800xA for Logover Settings, where I can make 'Revert to Inactivity User' active. But I don't know how I can reset the general property with this functionality. Are there properties available in 800xA which tell me when a revert action has taken place?
And I am also looking for a way to write this general property when a workplace logoff has occured.
Important to know:
- The system is a Compact HMI system with PLC connect.
- We don't use faceplates, every button or inputfield is placed on a graphic display.
- We have one Aspect/Connectivity server and multiple remote desktop sessions to that server with thin clients.
