Out of two IM Servers, Scheduling of Archievs (in scheduling Structures)for the one of the IM server fails.
Scheduling of Archieve (of numerical logs) fails with below error message.
Archieve Data request to Archieve Service fails. The Schedling logs shows Running objects no longer exists.
Is there any way to fix this?
Hi. I don't have much information (such as IM error logs, exact set up of the archiving etc.) to go on, so I will speculate based on previous experience:
What would have happened, I suspect, is that an archive request has failed at some point (full media, IM not up at the time it was scheduled etc.etc.). At the next time the action is sent to the Archive Service it will try and catch up, i.e. archive all the data from the time of the first failed Archive Action until now. Depending on the archive device set up, this archive action and all subsequent may fail. This can happen if you are creating ISO images and these become too big (> 2 Gbyte) as a result of the amount of data that is to be archived.
To recover from the scenario above, you would have to do manual archives where the data does not fill the media by limiting the time scope. Once you have caught up, the automated (scheduled) archiving should work again. It is recommended to limit the data in a scheduled archive action so that even if one fails, the next one does not reach the limit of the media (and 2 Gbyte is a hard limit for an ISO image here). This is descibed in the IM documentation.
