Procedure for Corrupted Aspect directory Database When No Database Backup Exists
Is there a procedure for recovering an aspect directory database without backup?
The system log shows the following error:
"ADServer: Fatal Error: Could not open storage manager: Catastrophic failure"
Its easy to be smug when this happens to someone else, but really, theres no excuse for not having a backup. Sorry.
Anyway, have you done something else - like changing an IP address on the server - that could have caused this error ? ( Note you cannot use DHCP in an 800xA system for this reason)
