What is the best tranceiver (10BASE T) for use with CS513?
I'm having trouble with a MB300 network. I try installing transceiver and switch from two different manufacturers. In my network I have connected five CPUs (PM511 V16). In some cases, the red fault LED blinks (CS513), when I connect the yellow cable the fault disappears.

The CS513 red LED will indicate fault if drop cable is disconnected, but may also light up if some fault with the transceiver or network is found.
A very common problem is lack of heartbeat, SQE which need to be enabled.
More details can be found out by analyzing the system messages emitted by the MB300 datalink layer tasks. E.g. the details in "17 8 xxx xxx xxx" messages are rather explicit - examine them with CBA's System Message tool or MasterNet User's Guide if you get to see them.
The AMP's 10Base5 and CentreCOM's 10BaseT transceivers both have passed our rigorous disturbance testing, but there exists other brands as well that will work.
During the day I've made a test program in my laboratory. I connected the two networks with different transceivers. I've tested one in a MB300 network and another in a GCOM network. The MB300 I have connected two MP200 and two AC450.
With the MasterAid connected no failure event was registered. Finally, to exchange data on GCOM network I have used an HMI.
I was wondering whether it would be possible the load of the CPUs is affecting the network, but unfortunately I am not able to simulate it.
I thought I'd experiment with different subcarrier SC510 and SC520, I have this condition today.
