Since Win7 Microsoft comes with a Tablet PC Input Panel, which is a virtual keyboard that can be used with any application running Windows. See how to start it even in a non Tablet PC following the link below.
DigiVis has no special support for touch technology implemented, but you can use the Tablet PC Input Panel on your screen as a replacement for your hardware keyboard.
The Tablet PC Input Panel comes with 2 views, one is the Writing Panel, the other the Touch Keyboard.
The Writing Panel allows you to directly write your text on the screen and works with handwriting recognition to convert your handwriting into typed text.
The Touch Keyboard has a key for the right-click, which can be used for context menues.
As Henrik pointed out, DigiVis works on Panel PCs which use touch panels.
Regarding APEX Monitors for PCs I guess that this would be a local supplier topic. Google for example delivered this supplier: http://www.isis-ex.com/
Yes, DigiVis is working on a Panel PC. We have installations with that technology. For example we have been using panels form Beijer Electronics in these cases. Pls have a look at the link. I dont know if they support ATEX zone 2 environment. The right click issue is supported in these panels.
I hope it will help you.
