Office2013 SC-interface Excel
We have encountered a problem with the installation of SC interface on computers with Win7 and Office 2013.
We have some brand new computers from HP where Office 2013 32-bit installed by us but the original HP-programs are not removed. The installation of the SC-interface worked without any problems. We have also managed to install the SC-interface on a computer with 64-bit office (interface not detected by the office), downgraded to 32-bit and SC interface works great.
Now the problem. When we do a clean Win7 installation on the same computer as in the example above and install the same Office 2013 32-bit as in the example above, we get an error message to install Office 2013/2010/2007 when we try to install SC interface. View Image
SC-interface version is 2.2.2101
Who else has had similar problems. We are in contact with ABB but want to see if anyone here has any tips on solutions or knows why this happens.

Now we have got it to work
The Install Shield is checking for below registry keys:
Office 2013 "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\ProductVersion"
Office 2010 "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\ProductVersion"
Office 2007 "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\ProductVersion"
We have a 64-bits OS Win7 and a 32-bits office 2013 so the registry is to be found in “Wow6432Node”. "SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\15.0"
Computers on which we could not install SC the key “ProductVersion” was missing. For some reason it was not created during installation.
By simply create a key called “ProductVersion” under the Common-key we were able to install CS
Can you tell me the registry value of the following key:
Normally it should have any of the follwing:
int office2007Version = 12;
int office2010Version = 14;
int office2013Version = 15;
Please let us know what is the OS version ? 64 bit or 32 bit ?
& what is the Excel version ? 32 bit / 64 bit.
This will give a clarity on the root cause.
