FI830F Number of self test erros 5 in ABB AC800FR
There are two AC800F Controller which are working dedundant. for maintenance reason I turn off No1 and when I try to turn it ON it gets above alarm (Profibus Number of self test error 5) the second one is RUN and Profibus is OK also it has two modbus cards that the state of both are Green but one of them doesnt communicate and recieve or transmit Information.
I try to assemble another new AC800F of the same version and while all fieldbus connectors are removed, I Connect the RJ45 Link between two controller to copy the program to new one but again with New Controller and New FI830 Card the card gets (FI830F Number of self test erros 5)!! (before connecting the new controller I set up the IP with Hyper Terminal also)
What is your suggestions
I appreciate it if you could help me
Thanks

Hello,
In a first step, we try to find the root cause , then try to exclude this root cause -> for this step, we can/should use one of the 2 "wrong" controllers.
To find the root cause, we need the Code for the registrated - Module Hardware errors.
within the controller log under the Item - Module status -
see an example as attachment
Only after finding the root cause, both "wrong" controllers should be sent to the repair shop in Ratingen Germany.
best regards
