System 800xA v6.0.1 Alarm & Event Handling
In Alarm & Event message of 800xA ver 6.0.1 connecting with Advant Master system (AC450 & Safeguard 415), I found the difference in Local Time and Active time. Can you explain to me what the difference means?
AFAIK "LocalTime" is not an OPC AE attribute - I don't know why it is in the above list or its origin. Maybe some timestamp the external historian/viewer is adding?
I suggest opening an event list in the 800xA Base System, eg directly on the object of concern "FZLL29082".
OPC AE standard declares the following timestamps:
- EventTime: changes with every update (active, inact., ack., enable, disable, etc)
- ActiveTime: is set when a condition event goes active
- AcknowledgeTime: is set when a condition event is acknowledged
Verify that your external historian/event viewer is properly time synchronized with the core system which in turn need to be in sync with the controllers. There is plenty of instructions available in the users guides.
I have just activated 2 signals in system to check then capture in Smart Client (Vietnam Local time currently is 14:37). It seems that the Local time column is right and Active time is different time zone (like GMT+0 vs GMT+7).
I have checked in Base system, the alarm & event list shows 14:37... (like Local Time in SC). I also checked Date, Time and Time zone setting. All are correct as Vietnam time.
