If you have a lot of objects, use BDM.
If you don´t have BDM installed, use the search function to filter out the objects. Select them and again: Right-click, delete.
As always with bulk handling, be careful!
you cant delete obsolete object like this - they dont appear in the plant explorer workplace.
Also, double posted question I guess :)
I was able to fix my problem. It was Fileset missing error when I was trying to delete the object. The object were from 2009. But when I started deleting 2010 and 2011 object it would work. Then I went back to the 2009 object then I was able to delete them as well
You can find obsolete objects by their GUID using the search tool in the 800xA workplace
- Get the GUID for the obsolete object from the backup log.
- enter the GUID into the search tool
- delete the object from the search tool.
