hello MMM, this is asad here. I need to talk about the same OPC configuration question you have answred

Hello asad,
How is the Gateway of AC500 configured? Being able to ping the PLCs means only, that they are in the same subnet. It does not mean that the PLCs communicate properly with OPC server.
Please try do connect another OPC client and check what do You see (there are many simple, free test OPC clients in the depths of web - try one of them). If the other client will show the same variables as Freelance did, then You know the problem is on PLCs side of communication. If the test client will be able to read all variables, from all 6 CPUs, then there is a problem with Freelance.
My guess is that the AC500 Gateway configuration or OPC server configuration is wrong. Maybe some symbol files are missing?
Firstly check where the problem lies, as it is hard for me to pinpoint what could it be right now...
Best Regards,
Mike
Hello Mike, We have gone through the codesys OPC Log file. here is a screenshot from it. actually we have found that the PLC we are trying to connect is not getting Project ID and the OPC fails to connect as per the log file mention below.
But we have tried to connect to the same PLC on another PC through same procedure and we are succesfull. now we need to know if there are limitations for one PLC to connect to more than one PCs using OPC. we are using AC-500 PM-592 Eth PLC.
