Using BatchID in report name
I saw your answer on this thread http://www402.abbext.com/Printing-800xA-q22343.aspx, and noticed you use the BatchID in the name of the output file. I copied what you did, but got "BatchID" in the file's name instead of the ID itself. What may I be missing here?
I am also having trouble printing the report to PDF. I am using PDF X-Change printer, I select it and when the report tries to print, I see in Windows printers manager that it has one document, but it prints nothing. I tried checking the printer's properties but no luck.
I would be grateful if you can give me any advice.
Thank you very much.
Please supply a screen shot of your Action Aspect, with the full Object Path or File Path visible, similar to what is shown in the Example attachment.
Concerning the printing, do you export this report to a file location and at that location, does the PDF file name open with Acrobat?
Hi Jeoff, in the attachment the name of the excel file is created with the date. If I change <LongDate> for <BatchID>, the name would be "Reporte_BatchID".
Regarding the printing, if I open the excel manually, and print it using the PDF-XChange printer, it does work and then opens correctly. But if I want the Workplace to print it automatically, then it doesn't work.
