Scheduler Services Stop Working When an amount of Job Description are created
I have created 5 Scheduler Service Groups. Each Service Group has only one Service Provider. Each Service Provider runs in a different server. I am using 3 of them to schedule Report creation and 2 of them to schedule Fullbackups.
When I reach an specific amount of Job Description to schedule Report creation in Scheduling Structure, it doesn't matter what Service Provider is configured in Scheduling Definition Aspect: all the Scheduler Services stop working (they go to Undefinied State or Ready State). If I delete the Job Description Aspects, the Services reach the Service State again...
Does it exist a limit for Job Description objects created to be scheduled?
PS: I have already tried to disable/enable the services but they didn't reach the Service State... I have already performed a reboot in all servers too but nothing happened...
I found a tip related to the issue. In the manual "3BSE041434-600 A en 800xA 6.0 System Guide Technical Data and Configuration", page 204, there is an information about the limit of the system:
Max. 200 simultaneous jobs per scheduling server
Unfortunatelly, even if the jobs are not running, the issue still happens. The solution that I found was to reorganize the Scheduling Structure: I have inserted more than one Action Aspect per Job Description, instead of create several Job Descriptions with only one Action Aspect.
After this, I have tested only one Job Description with several Action Aspects and it works fine. Only one Scheduling Definition Aspect per Job Description can deal with several Action Aspects.
This solution could help me. But if you have another way to deal with this issue, please let me know!
