Kapware Redundency Failure
Hi
I want to know how i can write on the OPCDA Service privder states
For example if i have 2 redundent kapware servers then i want that if one of my server failes then my OPCDA Service privder goes to undefined state and other server take over and vice verse.
we find that in matrikon we have this feature with ABB 800xA that in case of primary server failure redundant server take over but kapware don't have
Any suggestions from your side how we can do this ????

Hello,
I think there is no need to write on OPCDA Service proivder states.
OPCDA service providers always run in Service/Service state.
If you are running with 2 service providers under the common service group, then
if any one service provider fails (other than 'Service State'),another provider always available to retrieve the data.
In both service provider definition aspect, under special configuration tab, select the ProgID and the node running the Kepware OPC server. By this way,you can acheive the redundancy.
