Uncertain/non-specific quality of OPC Value
I am using an AC500 PLC connected to CompactHMI v6.0.1 via PLC Connect (both on the same node).
I can write values from CoDeSys and see these live changes when using Matrikon Explorer which show these signals as "Good", however they appear as "Uncertain/non-specific" under the Value property and do not update after doing a PLC Upload and deployment on CompactHMI.
Service configuration, Matrikon Explorer status, OPC Configuration and PLC Controller Types can be found in screenshots attached.
Please suggest what can be done to get Good/healthy OPC Value properties that update on CompactHMI.
Thanks in advance
Matrikon Explorer is a very basic test and does not verify all the features of and OPC connection, such ass callback etc. Treat the results with caution. All that the explorer is telling you is that the OPC server is up
PLC Connect uses the Soft Point service to provide most of the data in a PLC connect system. The services should all be configured automatically when you create the PLC Connect control network. You dont show these services in your screen shots.
Verify that the PLC Connect Network and the SoftPoint Services are all configured correctly according to the PLC Connect configuration guides and running correctly. The services should be running in a healthy state and not "synchronising".
Note that depending on how you've configured your PLC redundancy settings, it is possible that ONE bad tag configuration can turn off an entire OPC group and prevent the Softpoint service groups from syncronising. Check the Log files in the OperateITData Service folder.
