IM Process Administration Service restarting
What made you reinstall (install on already existing = repair/reinstall)?
One of the more common problems is a defective Oracle database.
Does the "OracleServiceADVA" and "OracleOraHome92TNSListener" services run (Control Panel->Services)?
Can you login to SQLPlus using "C:\> sqlplus /" when logged in as the 800xA service or admin account?
The Alert File (C:\oracle\admin\ADVA\bdump\alert_adva.log) may contain evidence to why Oracle does not start, e.g. a corrupt file or bad/missing disk partition, etc.
The Oracle Database Instance Wizard can be used to drop/recreate the database; also the History Backup/Restore tool (hsBAR.exe) can be used to restore a backup of the database.
I believe you should contact your regional ABB support center and ask them for assistance.
This seems to be very strange that on already existing IM server, History service will be present and already created an instance with Oracle database.
If you are trying to uninstall and install IM History again, then recommedation would be Take the IM backup, reformat the hard disk as it is very unreliable to use same oracle installation. Install Freshly and resore the IM backup.
