Alarm and Events are not Showing in Alarm List
Hiii,
Alarms and events of some of the signals are not appearing in Alarm list / Event List even if it is showing an alarm in the faceplate. What may be the possible reason?. and how to fix it ?. Alarm manager services are in service state.
Thanks in advance.

Inject more data; type of controller, object type, etc
- An incorrect filter may cause this; check filters
- AC 800M and Alarm Owner may cause alarm to arrive on unexpected object
- 800xA for Advant Master have different method of indicating an alarm.
- Alarm overflow may cause alarm to clear from HMI while staying in controller
Check also the Alarm Global Properties, is AGP saying alarm on this object or not? Object -> Right click -> Details... Property View -> Subscribe for live data

Hiii Stefan,
The quality of the Alarm Global properties are showing Bad(Comm failure).
Odd.
Bad (Comm failure) normally indicate problem to connect to the OPC server or item.
For alarm global properties we can rule out a bad OPC server. But the same error can also be induced by an erroneous hosts file, a faulty (blocking) affinity or an expired password.
However, all of them should lead to total collapse of all alarm global properties for a given client computer, not just a few objects.
I've seen problems when structures are very very deep and containing large number of objects. That could lead to internal resource exhaution in the Alarm Manager service if xxx_Descendant properties are subscribed. Does the non _Descedant properties work better if subscribing for such alone (eg from PG2 or a faceplate indicator, etc)?
Check that Alarm Manager Storage is set for default 10.000 alarms.
In recent 5.1 and 6.0 the Alarm Property Service was added to offload some of the descendant calculations from the Alarm Manager. Be sure to add a group and providers if you see the service in the Service Structure.
Eventually, please have a support case created so that we can take a closer look.
