800xA 6.0 Alarm & Event handling
I am using 800xA 6.0 for Advant Master (AC450 Connect and Safeguard 415 connect).
In Event list of Advant Operator Station, if Operator manually forces ON/OFF to output of DOC object (belongs to Safeguard controller), the message will appear in Event list.
How can I configure to show the same message in Event list of 800xA? Which category does it belong to? The message seems to be came from Safety system (one Safety fucnction). Not depent upon Process Section since I have already checked its Process section.
Thanks for answer.

System 800xA has not same, but far more Audit features than Advant OS.
For a starter; search user's guides (I would start with Admin/Security guide) for Audit Trail and read about it.
Then turn on the "main audit switch" in the Admin Structure and verify that AuditEvent_OperatorAction is enabled. Don't activate any more categories unless you have a license for audit (operator action and a few more are free from licensing).
Last, figure out if you want audit event category enabled on the standard event lists for Advant Master, or if you want to view audit elsewhere. To "inject" audit into standard event lists I fear that you must "open" the closed object type library (to gain access) and the tick the audit category on relevant object types. Be aware that such changes are possible, but may revert back to defaults at next upgrade. It may be just one common event list filter where this has to be done, can't verify since I'm off today.
Please note the difference between AuditEvent_OperatorAction and OperatorLogging(MB300)
1) AuditEvent_OperatorAction is an OPC Tracking Event (aka Audit) logged by the OPC DA framework when writing an OPC DA property. This event is *local* to System 800xA. The function is enabled in the Audit Trail configuration in the Admin Structure.
2) OperatorLogging(MB300) is also an OPC Tracking Event. The feature is a backwards compatible function which can be used with the legacy MasterView and Advant Station 500 OS. When enabled, the Advant Controller will emit an event when an object is manipulated, hence the event is *global* to the MB300 control network and all HMIs connected to it.
In 800xA for Advant Master in System 800xA it is enabled by setting the UseEventTrackingDef variable to 1 in the C:\Program Files\ABB Industrial IT\Operate IT\AC 400 Connect\bin\AdvDsMasterAdapter.csv.
,Use EventTracking enable/disable (0/1),Comment,
The difference between 1) and 2) is who is generating the event. The HMI or the controller. With 800xA as the only HMI on the MB300 control network, I would recommend 1). If multiple HMIs are to be used 2) is needed if all should be made aware of an operator interaction. By activating both 1) and 2) double event will be generated (as can be seen in the image of the event list above)
